Reach Amsterdam by train from RTM

You can reach Amsterdam from Rotterdam The Hague Airport (RTM) by train in about an hour, no rental car needed. RTM has no station of its own, so the move is bus first, then rail.

Grab bus line 33 outside the terminal to Rotterdam Centraal (roughly 20 to 25 minutes), then jump on a direct NS train. Crew report it runs frequently all day, so you rarely wait long.

• To Amsterdam Centraal: Intercity Direct is the fast option at around 40 minutes (small supplement fare), the regular Intercity is a touch over an hour.
• To Schiphol (AMS): if you meant the airport, the Intercity Direct from Rotterdam Centraal gets you there in about 25 to 30 minutes.
• Tickets: tap in and out with a contactless card or the NS app, and check live departure times before you leave the gate.
