On 29 July 2026 we priced the same rental on both sides: pick-up and drop-off at the airport, Friday 31 July 11:00 to Saturday 8 August 11:00, eight days, driver 25 or older, prices in US dollars. On hertz.com we entered CDP 865721 and confirmed the site showed the discount as applied. On our comparison partner we took the cheapest supplier rated 8.0 or higher, because a rock bottom price from a two star desk is not the same product.

One thing worth knowing about Hertz
At Orlando, Miami and Los Angeles, Hertz did not appear in the comparison results at all. Hertz sells most of its inventory through its own channel, so if you want that yellow key you generally have to go to hertz.com and use the code. At Amsterdam Hertz did show up on the comparison site, at $312 against $295 direct with the code, so there the code saved about $17 across eight days.
That is the honest case for keeping this page. The code is the only sensible way to book Hertz as crew. It is just not the only sensible way to book a car.
