Getting in from Ezeiza
- There is no train, so it is a bus or a taxi. The Manuel Tienda León shuttle runs to its Retiro terminal in about 50 minutes for around 20 dollars.
- Official taxi or remis: book at the counter inside arrivals, a fixed fare of roughly 45 to 55 dollars. Never take a ride from someone who approaches you in the hall.
The must-sees (free and paid)
- Recoleta Cemetery: the city of marble mausoleums where Evita is buried, free to wander.
- La Boca and Caminito: the painted tin houses and street tango, free, but a strictly daytime stop.
